After spending many years as a sex worker and struggling to find supportive care, I founded Nyx. A therapy space created with the adult industry community in mind
At Nyx, I offer online and in person therapy for current and former sex workers. Sex work is often heavily stigmatised which can lead to feelings of loneliness, isolation and being misunderstood. My aim is to meet you where you are with no agenda and no assumptions. Therapy doesn’t have to be about leaving the industry, it’s about getting the support you need.
in addition to my work with sex workers, I have extensive experience supporting people who have survived domestic abuse, relational trauma and sexual abuse. I understand that trauma impacts everyone differently and therapy can be a place to process pain and restore a feeling of safety at your own pace.
While Nyx was created with the adult industry community in mind, therapy doesn’t have to focus on your work. Our work together can explore whatever feels most relevant to you. Whether that’s your work, your relationships, your past or simply how you feel in the world right now.

Services
Therapy
Weekly or fortnightly therapy for past/present sex workers and also complex trauma survivors.
Sessions are 50 minutes each and the fee is £50. I offer both online or in person therapy.
Online sessions are via zoom. In person sessions are available in St Albans (A1) postcode
* Fully qualified and insured therapist
*Foundation certificate in Psychodynamic counselling
* Diploma in Psychodynamic counselling
* Masters (MA) with distinction in Psychodynamic counselling
* Currently studying Doctorate in Psychodynamic counselling (due to complete 2026)
* Worked on the advisory commitee for ESWA (European Sex Workers Alliance) collaborating on their Sex Worker Therapist Training programme.
* Registered member of BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy)
Consultation
Consultation is available for therapists, businesses and charities who are working with sex workers and would like exploration and education on some of the issues sex workers face. Please email info@nyxcommunity.com with your enquiry.
